Bliss Fleurs

What type and style of flowers do you work with most?
We specialize in flowers for weddings and events. We offer both fresh and artificial flowers.

How would you describe your business’s style?
Our business could best be described as “garden-style”. We grow many of our own fresh herbs and cut flowers and hope to expand our gardens this year.
We are not limited to one design style but generally lean towards loose garden style and boho designs. But sometimes we love to go really formal. Our
bride's dreams are our main inspiration.

Do you deliver?  Is there a charge for this?
Yes, we deliver and generally there is no charge for delivery in the Black Hills area. There may be a charge if we have to make a second trip to an out-of-town destination.

Are you available to pin on corsages and boutonnieres at the site?
No, we generally do not offer this service because all of corsages and boutonnieres use a magnetic easy to use backing.
Many ladies are opting for our slip-on metal cuffs but all corsages use magnets.

Do you do bouquet preservation? If so, what is your cost?
We do not do bouquet preservation, but hanging the bouquets upside down in a cool dark place will usually help preserve the bouquet.

How long have you been working with flowers?
I opened my first flower shop in 1995 and designed flowers for over 100 weddings during a 5 year period. I then closed my shop and traveled for
the next 10 to 15 years. I have just recently decided to focus on fresh flowers for weddings again.

Are you available to deliver items from my ceremony to the reception?
Yes, we can provide that service.

What type of rental items do you have?
We have many beautiful containers and accents for weddings that we rent or loan to our brides to help them achieve their look and style without them having
to buy items to only use once.

Are there any extra services you provide?
We also offer preserved roses for bridal bouquets and gift-giving as well as gifts that any bride or bridesmaid would love to receive.

Unique Offerings – what makes you stand out from the competition
Before moving here in 1993 I owned an herb nursery and specialized in growing antique roses. I understand how flowers grow naturally, how they move and look in gardens. I translate that natural movement to my designs. I love all flowers but especially love fragrant herbs, roses, and peonies. I believe you should drink in their fragrance with all your senses.
We also work with the DIY bride. We can order in bulk fresh flowers and process them so they are ready for the bride's helpers to design with.
