How We Met

Parker and I met while I was having a night out celebrating a friend’s birthday. He approached me and we ended up chatting for hours.

Planning Our Day

Both of our families were very involved in the whole process.  Family helped make all the flower arrangements. The wedding cake was done by my husband’s nephew's wife. The meat was cooked by another one of his nephews (which turned out perfectly).  My sister was my maid of honor. His daughter’s were junior bridesmaids. My cousin's husband was the officiant. My father-in-law and my husband’s nephew played guitar and sang for the wedding. And my family and friends helped decorate. I tried to involve as much of both our families as I could.

Wedding Hint

I repurposed old fence posts and barbed wire to make two faux fence corners for the altar. It saved money and created the rustic western look that I was going for.
