Something unique we did was had the bridesmaids and groomsmen stand on opposite sides so my bridesmaids were behind the groom and the groomsmen were behind me.

Have someone who you know will help you out when you get overwhelmed. I had my mom and best friend who I could give them something to do, and I knew they would get it done how I would want it done.
