How We Met

Since we both love ice cream, and our first date was getting ice cream, something unique we did for our wedding was to have a cookie cake and ice cream dessert for our reception. We also chose to take some time together the morning of our wedding and share breakfast. The day went by so fast, and it was special to be able to take a moment to pause before the celebration began.

Planning Our Day

We chose to get married in the Black Hills because although neither of us is originally from SD,  this is where we met and now call home. It is such a special place for both of us.

Wedding Hint

Some of the best advice I got when planning my wedding was to take time to enjoy the season of planning and preparation. It goes by so fast, and I had so much fun trying on dresses with family and friends, going to wedding events with Tanner, and planning all the little things that make the day special!
