When making a timeline for your wedding day, be as detailed as possible but allow for flexibility. Know that some things take longer than you might think, such as hair and makeup. Our hair and makeup took about 4 hours, which is pretty typical, but the actual time can vary based on the number of attendants, the complexity of the hair style, and makeup desired. Know that it’s better to allot too much time rather than too little. You’ll be happy that you did!

Wedding Hint

Everyone tells you that your wedding day is the quickest day of your life, so pause, and take it all in. Take a moment for yourself. As the bride, I did this right before the ceremony where I had a moment just to myself, to take a breath and reflect on the day. It’s easy to stress and worry about the big day, but this really helped me to stay grounded and focus on the reason why I was there: to marry my best friend!
