How We Met

My husband and I met it in high school through mutual friends on a trip to Disneyland. I actually tried to set him up with my cousin first, but neither of them were very interested in each other.

Planning Our Day

My family went above and beyond for me with helping planning our wedding; I appreciated every single one of them for everything they did. I had everyone asking me what they could do for me and how to help. Honestly, my family is the best and they made it the most perfect day ever. My bridesmaids were all equally amazing, too. I am truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life.

Wedding Hint

My favorite detail about our wedding was definitely the hardanger cloth. The hardanger cloth is a family heirloom that’s been in my family for more than 100 years. It was made by my great-great-great grandmother Inga when she was 16 years old in 1903. It has been happily placed under the wedding cakes of all my family members, including my parents and my grandparents. My family is very Norwegian and it made me very proud to represent my heritage by both getting married in a Norwegian church and to bring our very sacred hardanger cloth.
