Our Love Story

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to start our lives together.  For several days leading up to our wedding day, it had been raining  (in August?!). Since we were planning on getting married outside at Copper Canyon Lodge, I was getting very nervous about the weather! On Friday, as we were setting everything up, it was cold and rainy, and I was convinced that Saturday would be the same, and had accepted that. When I woke up to the sun shining on Saturday morning, I was thrilled! 
Early Saturday morning, my 3 wonderful bridesmaids and I woke up and began setting everything up, as we were DIY-ing all the decor in the tent. Bridemaids are LIFE SAVERS on your wedding day!!!! They did the BEST job getting everything just right, and I am so grateful for all of them. After getting hair and makeup done, it was time for the “first look” with Tyler. I knew that he would love my dress, but when he saw me, his reaction was even better than I had anticipated! The rest of the day flew by so quickly, before I even knew what was happening, my dad was walking me down the aisle and handing me off. The rest of the night was SO MUCH FUN with all of our friends and family!!!  Best day ever.

Planning Our Day

I did most of the decorations, signs, flowers (except for the bouquets) myself. I love arts and crafts time, so I started early and I love how it all turned out!

1. Don't worry about the weather… nothing you do can change it! It will be a great day no matter what!
