Pasque & Pine

Story

Pasque and Pine is about complementing the beauty of your love with the surrounding area of the beautiful Black Hills. Nature is so delicate and beautiful like the pasque flower, just as your love is towering and bold like the ponderosa pines. We capture the big picture as well as the intricacies of your story.

Style

Capturing the color of your story through crisp, vivid photographs. My approach to wedding photography is very similar to the process I follow in adventure photography. There are very specific moments that hold a lot of energy, and my goal is to capture those raw emotions to transport you to that moment in time. From hanging off the edge of a cliff, to saying I do. These moments hold so much power and beauty, and I want to go on that adventure with you.

Unique Offerings

Unique to the area, we include a custom painting of you and your loved one, inspired by a photo from the special day. Black Hills artist Shalayne Mowry creates unique pieces that hold energetic marks, thoughtful use of color, and that capture your love and connection perfectly. Shalayne also offers a discounted rate to our clients for a live wedding painting session.

Our Team

At Pasque and Pine, you can expect consistency, for we have the same team of photographers at every wedding – our main shooter, Sarah Ponwith and backup shooter, Ian Osborn. Our goal is to create a natural experience for our clients, allowing you to be yourself, and to unlock the intimacy that is only shared between one another, without others around.

What’s Included

No matter which package you pick, you will be provided with a 1 hour engagement session, 2 photographers on your wedding day, all edited photos in an online gallery along with a mailed USB drive, and a stylized wedding portrait of the two of you painted by local artist Shalayne Mowry!
