Tia and Dan Berens Engagement Announcement

Tia Ferguson, daughter of Bob and Gina Ferguson and Lisa Anderson of Chadron NE -- Rapid City SD, has become engaged to Dan Berens, son of Tom and Jenny Berens and Steve and Kathy Brownmiller of Treynor IA and Denison IA.

Proposal

It all began in February 2018, when Dan, popped the BIG question during our big trip to New Zealand! Tia had an incline Dan was going to pop the question but didn't know when or where. The first day was spent doing many adventurous once in a life time things like… driving on one of the worlds scariest roads through skippers canyon, white water rafting through unknown rapids, Bunge/Swing jumping through a large canyon. Tia assumed the cliche's would be endless this day and that he would for sure ask. But he didn't, and he didn't on day 2 or day 3… but DAY 4. They went on a hike up Mount Aspiring and as they peaked to the top looking out at Massive Glaciers and Waterfalls Dan got down on one knee.  The trip was a trip of a lifetime.
