Proposal

Trav and I had been talking about getting married (or maybe it was just me) but I was very shocked when he actually proposed. In June, we hiked to the top of Buzzards Roost (I know, romantic sounding) and he popped the question! He had asked some of our friends to come along to take pictures so they tricked me into taking a few of them to make sure the background was just right and then insisted that they take of few of Trav and myself. After they snapped a few pictures I turned to leave and Trav said “Hey, let’s take one more.” So I turned around to take one more picture and he was down on one knee with a ring! I was in complete shock. I had absolutely no idea that it was going to happen that day. I looked at him with my mouth wide open for while and then I accused him of messing with me and that he was joking and it was all fake. He told he would just take the ring back then so I yelled “YES!” and ran over to him. It was the most perfect proposal I could have asked for!

How They Met

We met in the summer of 2011 while working at a campground together. It wasn’t very busy so we got to spend a lot of time together.  We started dating at the end of the summer and haven’t looked back since!
