Shelby and JC Lynass Engagement Announcement

Shelby Stagner, daughter of Rob and Julie Stagner of Deadwood, SD, has become engaged to JC Lynass, son of Jack and Lori Lynass of Rapid City, SD.

Proposal

It was a beautiful fall day. I knew it was the day to propose. I decided to take Shelby golfing. The golf course was so colorful with the fall colors and I was excited and happy to be able to ask her to marry me on such a perfect day. When we reached the last hole, I made the phone call to my dad to let him know we were teeing off number 18. Both our families were secretly in the club house watching and waiting to cheer. What felt like a life time and too many strokes later, we got to the green. I made Shelby finish putting which ended with her finding a ring box at the bottom of the cup. When she picked it up and turned around, I was on my knee, ready to propose to this incredible woman. We were both laughing and I could hardly finish the question, but managed too which ended with a yes! As we hugged, it was such an amazing sound to hear both of our families cheering from the deck of the club house. Looking back on it now, it couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
