Randi and Josh Jones Engagement Announcement

Randi Shampine, daughter of Joanne and Shane Julien of Rapid City, SD, has become engaged to Josh Jones, son of Mary Williams and Don Jones of Rapid City, SD.

Proposal

Josh and I were at Watiki for my nephews first birthday, and when i came off of the slide he was gone and my mother told me he got called into work. Of course, I was very angry that he would leave my nephews first birthday to go into work. After the party my parents took our kids, and I went home. When i got home there was a rose on the door that had a note written on it that said “Hello my love, you are about to embark on a very special journey.” When I opened the door he had our song playing, and a path leading through the living room down the hallway to the bedroom of glitter, rose petals, and a dozen roses with a note tied to each rose. I read all the notes as i walked down the hallway, and when I got to the room I opened the door, and he was down on one knee with a ring. He then asked me if I would marry him, and of course I said YES!!! 😊 It was an incredible way to get engaged.
