Karen and James Linn Engagement Announcement

Karen Stevens, daughter of Gwyn and Thomas Thiele of Piedmont, SD, has become engaged to James Linn, son of Laura and James (Jim) Linn of Black Hawk, SD and Pierre, SD.

Proposal

We designed the engagement ring together so it wasn’t that much of a surprise. He got the ring delivered sooner than I thought. He came into my work and got all of my coworkers and bosses involved and they pretended like I was needed in the kitchen. When I walked into the kitchen he was standing there holding the box and he was all dressed up. Everyone was hiding in the kitchen with their phones out, and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

How They Met

James and I met on a dating site. It’s definitely and interesting story when people ask us about it!
