Proposal

We were heading out to Polson, Montana in November and I came home from work and showed Jeb that I had gotten my nails done (expecting to get my engagement ring then). Jeb sat me down and told me “You are not getting an engagement ring this weekend so do not be mad at me when you don't get one.” I laughed and said whatever and he got extremely serious and was like “No, I tried but you are not getting a ring thing weekend so don't be upset at me when you don't get it, it won't be here in time.” Needless to say, I did not get a ring that weekend. The next weekend, he planned an engagement party with my friend at a dance and told me that we were going to have a house warming party at the end of December. I was super excited thinking that we were going to have a housewarming party and I started having friends come from 6 hours away for it, but I didn't think too much about it. Once my friends arrived we just sat around and were talking but everyone was acting so strange, I didn't think anything of it because my friends are always acting like that. I got up to use the bathroom and when I came out my friend Caitlin said: “Oh I got you a house warming gift.” We went over to the kitchen to open up my house warming gift and it was a can koozie that said “Off the Market” and a little glass that said, “Bride to Be.” I looked up and everyone said, “turn around!!” I turned around and Jeb was on one knee and asked me to marry him. He asked me are you sure and I said “no” and told him I hated him, he said that he would be worried if I had any other answer than that. We celebrated with my friends all night, our house warming party turned into a surprise engagement party.

How They Met

Nothing exciting, just same small town.
