HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?

Darin and I have been entrepreneurs for over a decade. In 2008, I started doing lifestyle and fine art photography professionally, winning numerous awards, including having my fine art photos as part of permanent installations in MO. In addition, while photographing events, I would often set up an extra camera, remote and props for guests. I loved the results! After moving back to Rapid City in 2014, I continued photography with hopes of one day owning a portable photo booth. In November 2020 my dreams of having a photo booth AND a VW bus were combined when Darin and I purchased Koda the Black Hills Photo Bus (est. 2017) from Black Hills Tour Company.  

COVERAGE AREA 

We are happy to travel throughout the Black Hills for weddings, or any other events. A small travel fee may be applied for locations outside 50 miles of Rapid City. 

ARE YOU AVAILABLE IF THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH THE BOOTH?

Yes, there will be a knowledgable attendant with the bus at all events.

PRICE RANGE

We have a range of packages available for 2-3-4 hour bundles, and we are also able to tailor to specific needs if required. All pricing information is available on our website

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We come to each event with an amazing retro VW bus, endless props, a fun attendant and UNLIMITED photos. At weddings our keepsake guestbook is a great compliment to the booth; each shoot prints two photo-strips, your guests keep one and the other is added to your guestbook with a love note from your friends and family in the pictures! All our packages are listed on our website and indicates what is included in each bundle. Extras and add-ons are always available by request such renting Koda for Save the Date pics and as a wedding photo prop.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU SUGGEST BOOKING?

We suggest booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, especially during wedding season.
