Our Love Story

Our wedding day was magical.  The Black Hills are gorgeous alone, but when they are accompanied by all the beautiful decorations our family and friends designed the view was breathtaking.  We were wed without any hiccups in the day and all went smoothly!  Even the herd of 100 buffalo meandering through the ceremony and reception site were welcomed….for a short time at least!

How We Met

We met through a mutual friend at college and became great friends before ever dating.  Eventually we began to date on February 5, 2012.

Planning Our Day

With a nearly year and a half engagement we felt we had plenty of time to plan and prepare for the big day.  Which we did, we found our style of decorations, attire and colors quickly and ran with our ideas.  We incorporated many touches that suited us and fit perfectly with our personalities.

Wedding Hint

Plan for yourselves!  Don't worry about what anyone else would want on your wedding day and don't try to incorporate too many different ideas.  Also, pick a few focal points to put the most into, for us that was our head table and cake table.  We knew these would be photographed the most and wanted them to be the most focused on.  Lastly, take all assistance when offered, don't think you can do it all and make checklists for everything!
