Ruby’s Garden, an inviting outdoor wedding venue, creates a peaceful, private picturesque garden party. The Garden is located behind the historic Booth House at the D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery & Archives.
An oval shaped lawn provides an area for guest seating. Bordering the chairs is a rustic flagstone walkway and landscaped flowerbeds. A vine-covered pergola is located on one end of the garden providing a picturesque background for the bride and groom along with the wedding party as their vows are shared.
Shrubs create a boundary on either side, while beautiful Black Hills trees and mountains provide an outdoor background that shares a touch of wilderness with the Garden visitors. Nearby a white bridge awaits the gorgeous bride and handsome groom to pose for those once in a lifetime photos. The back porch of the 1905 Historic Booth House provides a shaded area reminiscent of family gatherings from years gone by.
Two hundred white wooden folded chairs are available for the wedding event which are set up and taken down by the Hatchery staff. A golf cart is ready to escort guests up and down the Hatchery Grounds if desired. An added perk for the bridal couple, is the placement of a brick with their names and wedding date engraved on it, near the Spring Stocking Sculpture.
Booth Society staff and volunteers will be on hand to help as the couple participates in a memorable, unique ceremony beginning their wedded life together. Additional information is available at www.dcboothfishhatchery.org
